Desire 2 Learn

Along with other ADEC institutions, Canadian University College is pleased to participate in the consortium use of Desire 2 Learn as our Learning Management System (LMS).  Our site is accessible at  http://d2l.cauc.ca.  This system can be used for online classes, as support for current classes, or in a blended design (face to face combined with online)

If you are CUC faculty and want to learn more about Desire to Learn, contact us at csupport@cauc.ca, or give us a call at extension 4021.  Or if you prefer, we have some introductory material so you can learn at your own pace.

Extra information: If you are using D2L for your classes, kindly check that the course is activated before classes start! If you aren't sure how to do it, check this document (Activate D2L)

Turn it in

Turnitin is a system designed to check plagiarism and originality. Turnitin is integrated with D2L, in the Dropbox area. To use this system, you will need to go to www.turnitin.com and create an account.  Your teachers will give you a password necessary to join the class that they set up.  If you need help with any of this, please contact Computer Services

 This software is available to CUC Faculty and integrated with D2L to allow secure on-line testing limiting the possibility of students navigating away from the exam, or using any other application in their machine while doing the examination. For more information, please contact Computer Services.
