Internationally recognized, this 8-session course includes classroom academic & pool diving assessment. Includes all equipment except snorkel. Added charges for open water to be arranged separately. Taught by Farrington Diving Services.

More energy, stronger bones, and greater mobility! Experiencing physical fitness is an exhilarating feeling at any age! The seniors’ weight training classes include a variety of supervised fitness programs in both the weight room & the gymnasium. Seniors aged 55 and older. Introduction to Drawing
Are you new to drawing or do you need a quick refresher? This course will take you through the rudiments of learning how to use your visual eye and draw what you see. Elements of visual art include gesture, perspective and composition will be covered in a hands-on approach. Charcoal and graphite will be the mediums used. No need to bring any materials to class. For ages 18 to 98. Instructor: Stacey Hunter.

Digital Photography & Picasa
Learn the basics of digital photo editing using Picasa Google. Learn how to download software, import photos, organize, and simple photo editing techniques such as cropping, red eye correction, lighting and more. Learn how to share and exhibit your photos on the web and create web albums and collages. Please bring your camera, USB cable, and any pictures on a CD or Memory Stick you wish to use. Traveler’s Spanish Beginners

Gluten-Free Cooking
Celiac disease, gluten intolerance, autism, and even ADHD are all treated with a gluten-free diet. Gluten-free cooking can and does taste delicious. We will cook and eat a delicious meal together, from start to finish, showing methods and helpful hints to make it simple and tasty. You will go home with some recipes, newfound confidence to cook gluten-free, and some tasty treats. Instructor: Valerie Van Gelderen - mother of 9 children, 6 of them having Celiac Disease.

Cake Decorating 101
Have you always wanted to learn how to make your cakes extra special? We’ll show you how. Learn helpful tips for baking, layering, and icing cakes. Receive instruction on decorating tools including piping bags and tips. Learn to create basket weave, stars, leaves piping, and a variety of flowers to decorate your own cake. The Not-So-Impossible Vegan Lifestyle
Want to eat healthier but feel a vegan lifestyle is an impossible goal? Take this class and learn how to transition to a vegan lifestyle while preparing tasty vegan recipes for a variety of meal ideas from breakfast to supper. Recipes will include traditional foods such as Caesar Salad, Meatballs, Chocolate Cake, and more. Foods will be nut-free for those with allergies. Instructor: Elke Holly.

Pre-registration is required for all courses. Please register at least one week before the course unless otherwise stated. Payment must be made at time of registration. Register in person, by phone, or by mail. All fees include GST.
Refund Policy Refunds are generally not available, except for extenuating circumstances. A ten dollar ($10.00) administration fee will be charged on all refunds. If a course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be given. We reserve the right to change or cancel any program as needed.
