Rise Above is the music group of Canadian University College. Composed of students and staff, Rise Above keeps a busy schedule travelling to campmeetings and churches all over Canada. "Rise Above signifies the reality of life for all of us. Life with God can be abundant, but "life" is not always pleasant or easy... in spite of what life brings us, because of Christ's strength, we too can Rise Above life's challenges," states Bryan Lee, Vice President for Marketing and Enrolment and a member of the group.

Rise Above will be touring with a group of eight this summer. Rise Above 2010 includes; Enoch Attey, third-year Music major; Donovan Diminyatz, first-year Religous Studies major; Kalyna Lamberton, first-year Education major; Bryan Lee, VP for Marketing and Enrolment; Chet Stickle, first-year Biology major; and Sara Sutherland, second-year Education major. Rounding out the group is pianist and keyboardist Nicole Bartolay, a recent graduate and CUC staff member, and group coordinator Bernice Leavitt, a CUC staff member.
