Women's Soccer

Congratulations to the CUC Women's Soccer team for capturing the 2010/2011 Red Deer Women's League Tier 2 Championship. The team powered through the season unbeaten and finished with an impressive 18-0-1 record. This year's team was also fundraising money towards building a classroom for women in Afghanistan. With each goal they scored sponsors donated money towards the Goals For Afghanistan project. Even before the end of the season the the team had raised the $5,000 needed to build a classroom in Afghanistan. Congratulations for an impressive season on and off the pitch!
