Pool

Canadian University College Aquatic Centre has been around for 42 years. We feature a 6 lane, 25 meter main pool with a depth from 1.1 to 3 meters. We keep the pool at a comfortable 29-29.9°C.

Accessibility? Both change rooms are wheelchair accessible and we are in the process of building a single unit handicapped/family change room. Our swimming pool also has a chairlift to help those in need so everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the water.

Programs? We have a number of programs for the young and the young at heart. For swimming lessons we offer Red Cross Swim Preschool, Red Cross Swim Kid &  Adult Lessons. If you are looking for fitness we offer Aquacize 5 times/weeks + lane swimming 10 times/week. For swimmers wanting Advanced courses we offer Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Aquatic emergency Care, O2 Administration National Lifeguard Service, Assistant Water Safety Instructor and Water Safety Instructor.

Public Swims? Everyone is welcome! We have recreational swims 6 days a week. Note: Children under 9 years old must be supervised in the water within arms reach by a responsible person.

Competitive Swim Club? We are home to the Lacombe Dolphins. We are a Summer club and run from the first of May to the middle of August.

Special Olympics? This is our second year of fun, learning and competitions.

The Pool is also available for birthday parties, rentals and private lessons.

Toonie Swim: Every Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
