Manitoba

Students from Manitoba must meet the following admission requirements.

Completion of high school
English Language Arts 40S with a minimum grade of 60%
Four (4) additional 40 level courses, three (3) of which must be academic courses (40S)
An overall average of 60%, with no grade below 55%

Program Specific Admission Requirements

Some programs require specific high school prerequisites. Unless otherwise specified, all prerequisite courses must have a minimum grade of 60% to qualify for admission. The prerequisite courses listed below must be presented as part of the five (5) grade 12 courses used to evaluate for admission.

Business Administration	Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S
Education Elementary	Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S with a minimum grade of 60% OR Applied Mathematics 40S with a minimum grade of 70% 40S science 40S social studies/second language (Social Studies, French, History, Geography, Canadian Law, etc.)
Education Secondary Biology	Biology 40S Chemistry 40S Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S
Education Secondary Mathematics	Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S with a minimum grade of 70% Chemistry 40S
Education Secondary Social Studies	Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S 40S social studies/second language (Social Studies, French, History, Geography, Canadian Law, etc.)
Education After-Degrees	Completion of a 3 or 4 year bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5
International Studies	Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S
Music	Audition is required
Nursing (Kettering College block transfer agreement)	Minimum grade of 65% for all courses English 40S Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S or Applied Mathematics 40S (minimum grade of 70%) Biology 40S Chemistry 40S
Psychology	Pre-calculus Mathematics 40S with a minimum grade of 60% OR Applied Mathematics 40S with a minimum grade of 70% A 40S lab science (preferably Biology or Chemistry 40S)
